Desperate Housewives star, Ryan Carnes, has revealed that he was terrified of the Daleks while filming an episode of BBC’s Doctor Who.
In an interview with Whats On TV, Ryan revealed: “I saw an episode of Doctor Who featuring the Daleks before I filmed this one and I remember thinking ‘they’re really not that scary’.
“But as soon as I got on set and one of those things rolled out and started moving its arms around I admit they were pretty scary.”
He added: “It’s weird that an upside down trash-can with a plunger and an egg-beater for arms can be that scary but the Daleks really are frightening.”
I used to have nightmares about the Daleks, they terrify me, so i know where Ryan is coming from. Kind of shatters my image of him as a tough guy though…..
