Doctor Who star David Tennant is “smitten” with his new daughter Olivia!

Former Doctor Who star David Tennant is said to be absolutely “smitten” with his new baby daughter.

Bang Showbiz report that David and his fiancé Georgia Moffett welcomed their daughter Olivia to the world just days ago, and Christian O’Connell revealed on his Absolute Radio show that David is loving being a dad.

O’Connell told listeners, “A couple of you have been asking on Facebook how DT is, David Tennant…

“I swapped texts with him over the weekend. He is smitten with his new baby daughter.

“I know from his texts he’s enjoying it but it is utter chaos even with his sonic screw driver he’s still got to change the nappies.”

Christian also revealed that David and Georgia kept the pregnancy a secret because they wanted to “enjoy it” privately.

Christian went on to say, “Some of you asked why didn’t he say anything when he came on the show when he was co-hosting it a few weeks ago.

“It was for the simple reason that they wanted to keep it private which was an amazing job that they managed to do that because when he came in and co-hosted the show his girlfriend was in the studio watching, we have three web cameras in here and she was clearly showing.

“It was something they wanted to keep to themselves and enjoy it instead of making it public property.

“We wish him all the best and hopefully he’ll be coming on the show again soon

David, 39, – who was of course the 10th doctor – proposed to 26 year old Georgia at Christmas, and it’s expected the couple will marry on New Year’s Day 2012.

The couple met when Georgia – who’s the daughter of Peter Davison, the fifth Time Lord – guest starred in an episode of ‘Doctor Who’ in 2008 as pictured above.
