Doctor Who star Matt Smith has admitted that he can’t get enough of all things vampire and revealed that his favourite show at the minute is FX’s True Blood.

Matt, who makes his debut as The Doctor on BBC One tonight, told The Sun:

“I’ve been very privileged and seen all of series two already. It’s absolutely fantastic.

“I’ve been watching it on the bus while we’ve been touring the country.

“We’ve got an episode of Doctor Who that features vampires – and some of them are quite hot. We got to go to Croatia to film the episode, which was beautiful.”

His other favourite TV show? Masterchef!

He added: “If there is one thing I watch most days it’s Masterchef. I’m hooked.”
