This new drama – to be aired on SyFy at 10pm tonight – features the kicka** Jane Vasco as an enigmatic and mysteriously self-healing Drug Enforcement Agent.

Jane – played by Kristanna Loken – heals after falling from a 50 storey building, following which, she’s recruited by a covert government agency to track down genetically enhanced people.

But why can she recover from her injuries?

Painkiller Jane – taken from the comic book creation of the same name – tells the high-octane adventure story of the indestructible agent, but being seemingly invincible isn’t all it’s cracked up to be when both government and bad guys want you dead.

So when Jane stumbles across a government operation to neutralise “neurological aberrants” she’s forced to sign up and fight for the side of the law…
