Dumbing Down Of Alan Titchmarsh
I really liked Alan Titchmarsh when he gardened. He was cute yet intelligent, kind of lovely in a very geeky way. But the sexed up version of the Alan Titchmarsh show just doens’t dit right with me.
I am no prude, but I just don’t like to see Alan talking about games to spice up my sex life, or placing stickers on a scantily clad model’s bottom!
In the clip above from today’s Alan Titchmarsh show, Alan can be seen discussing the sexy board games like ‘Monogamy’ and coincidentally ends up reading out quite a risque card, which doesn’t leave much to the imagination.
From the man who fronted Pebble Mill at One and Gardeners World, Alan must be wondering what on earth he has done to offend ITV so badly that they make him endure this embarrassment day after day.
My advice to Alan would be to return to the Beeb asap, before his career sinks down the U bend!

I saw this as well and was surprised, I was only half watching and all of a sudden my attention was gained and I agree it does not seem right to listen to him talking like that or for afternoon tv. If you are 70 I must be going on a 100.

Oh my lord. Get a life seriously. Ohhh he talked about sex, something which is in all our lives. You are prudish, go wrap up in bubble wrap and put some ear muffs on. The world is fine and we will continue to spoon feed you.
