Eamonn Holmes Give Up On Losing Weight

Eamonn Holmes

This Morning presenter Eamonn Homes has been forced to give up on his weight loss efforts after falling and injuring his leg.

The accident occurred outside the This Morning studios, when he tripped and fell whilst carrying bags for his partner Ruth Langsford. Eamonn was taken to hospital and will eventually need to have surgery to repair the cartilage in his leg.

A source told The Mirror: “Eamonn was carrying bags into the studio for his partner Ruth Langsford when he tripped. He fell over and had to be taken to hospital. It is a nasty injury and they will need to operate. But Eamonn is really busy so he is just strapping it up and gritting his teeth.”

Eamonn is on a health kick for new ITV TV show The Feelgood Factor and had vowed to reach his target weight by the final episode. Speaking recently, he said: “I’m finding it tough, but since Christmas I have lost a stone and a half which is around 20lbs. It’s good, but I want to lose another 10lbs.”

Not much chance now!
