EastEnders: Alfie Moon will catch Kat going to her bedsit love nest! And will Bianca lose her job yet again?!

by Lynn Connolly

Fans of EastEnders will know that the Who Is Kat Moon’s Lover storyline has gone on for about 30 years now, however, it’s due to end – and the mystery man’s identity will be revealed – in the episodes that air a week before Christmas…

The climax to the plotline will begin later this month when Alfie (Shane Richie) becomes ever more suspicious that his wife Kat (Jessie Wallace) is still seeing her lover.

So, coming up with a plan, he tells Kat that he’s got to go away for the night on business, however, he stays in the Square, keeping out of sight so that he can spy on Kat and see what she gets up to…

And his patience is rewarded when he follows Kat to a bedsit on George Street – which is of course where she formerly met with her lover for assignations – and assuming she’s gone to meet her lover, Alfie breaks down the door and prepares for a confrontation!

However, he finds Kat alone in the flat, but as she tries to explain that she’s only there to tell the man to stop pestering her, Alfie pins her against the wall and demands answers.

But Kat still refuses to tell her who she had an affair with, but during yet another row in the Vic soon after this incident, the truth will come out when Alfie lunges for one of the Branning brothers, and Kat cries out, “Stop! You’ve got the wrong brother!”

We’ll see the dramatic bedsit scenes on the 20th December, but before all that happens, poor Bianca Butcher (Patsy Palmer) is going to face the biggest test of her fiery temper to date – since she left prison recently at any rate – when market inspector Mr Lister calls into Booty for a haircut!

Fans will recall that it was thanks to Mr Lister’s call to police that Bianca was banged up, so it wouldn’t be unreasonable for Bianca to fantasise about dying his hair orange or something by way of payback, but instead, she’ll try to be the consummate professional, knowing her job could be on the line if she doesn’t.

However, things take a turn for the worse after Mr Lister accuses Bianca of stealing from him!

Will Bianca keep her cool? Well, that remains to be seen, but of the plotline, an EastEnders insider told the Daily Star, “Bianca can’t believe it when Mr Lister walks through the door as her next client.

“She knows how lucky she is to have a job and had it not been for Tanya giving her a chance she knows she would be unemployed and skint.

“So the last thing she needs is to start any trouble with him.

“He talks down to her like he always does and makes a few comments about turning her life around.”

The source added, “Mr Lister has always had it in for her and whether or not she can keep quiet remains to be seen.

“If she doesn’t she knows she could lose her job…but this is Bianca Butcher we’re talking about.”

We’ll find out what happens there a week on Thursday, but for now, here’s a reminder of the moment Bianca was arrested back in April…
