Eastenders star, Barbara Windsor has revealed that she gets up to 400 fan letters each week and reads them ALL! How dedicated is she?

Barbara told InsideSoap magazine: “I get 300 to 400 letters a week, so I go through them between takes. I read each letter myself, just in case an old friend has written!

“As you can imagine, I rarely finish before 7pm.”

Barbara may have been on our screens for what seems like forever, but she actually doesn’t like being famous.

She said: “I never wanted the fame. I don’t like the fact that I can’t go on the tube without people trying to talk to me, and asking what I had for breakfast or the colour of my knickers.”
