EastEnders: Bianca Jackson will struggle to cope now she’s out of prison!

by Lynn Connolly

It’s all a bit déjà vu in the run up to Christmas for Walford resident Bianca Jackson, who, just like last year, will be released from prison just in time to worry about how she’s going to pay for the festivities…

As fans will know, she’s been inside for months, and while she’s been at Her Majesty’s pleasure, her mum Carol (Lindsey Coulson) has been taking care of her kids, and one of the first things that Bianca’s going to struggle with upon her release is that it’s their granny who her kids go to first when they want or need anything.

A show insider told the Daily Star, “It breaks Bianca’s heart that her kids have become so dependent on her mum Carol for their everyday needs.

“It’s only natural as she’s been the one there for them all these last few months but it all adds to the pressure and strain she’s already feeling…

“Bianca is over the moon to be out before Christmas. At the same time she has become rather detached from everything that’s going on in her kids’ lives.

“She decides to turn to her uncle Derek for advice.

“He spent a number of years inside and she hopes that he’ll be able to help her readjust.

“He has some choice words and tells her to pull herself together.

“It gives her the motivation she needs and she even manages to persuade Tanya [Jo Joyner] to give her a job in Booty as a hairdresser.

“She used her time inside to retrain but it’s going to be interesting to see whether she can pull off her new career choice.”

Bianca’s first spray tan lesson did not go well…

We’ll see Bianca’s less than joyous return to the Square a week on Friday but for now, here’s a reminder of her Christmas 2011 reunion with her kids…
