EastEnders actress Charlie Brooks has admitted that she definitely made the right decision when she returned to the BBC soap last year.

Talking to Inside Soap, Brooks said: “I think it’s a wonderful cast at the moment. I was a lot younger when I worked on the show before, and didn’t get involved with things so much.

“But I find the older I get, the more I like everything. I love the people I work with, and I feel I definitely made the right decision to return.”

Brooks also revealed that she would love Janine to fall in love and she knows just th man for the job.

“I really want Janine to fall in love. She’s definitely got her eye on Ryan – they get on well because they’re quite similar. We’ll see a softer side to her emerging soon, too.”
