Eastenders: Cheryl Ferguson To Stay On Council Estate

EastEnders star Cheryl Fergison has revealed that she never intends to move away from the council estate she grew up on.

Cheryl receives good pay for her role as Heather in Eastenders, but will never move house as she doesn’t want to have to get a mortgage.

“I still live on a council estate in south-east London. I grew up there and I don’t really want to move away,” Cheryl told The People. “I’m a real local girl. My son likes it there and so does my husband. We’re normal, but the real reason is that I don’t want to get a mortgage.

“This industry is so up and down that I don’t want to get in financial trouble. I have managed to pay off all of my debts so now I don’t want to get into any more.”

Hi, My names Rick and on Tuesday 14 April I was at the Eastbourne Sovereign Harbour with my 14 yr old Grandaughter Lauren where we saw Cheryl sitting outside a cafe with friends. She absolutely loves Eastenders and Cheryl is one of her favourite characters, I would have loved to have taken her over and said hi but I felt it was wrong to intrude on her private live.I live further along the coast and all the way home she was so excited having seen here I thought I’d see if there’s any way I could get a personal photo signed by Cheryl to my Grandaughter Lauren.
