EastEnders: Chucky Venn says Kim Fox will be “quite peeved” if she finds out her boyfriend Ray Dixon kissed her sister Denise!

by Lynn Connolly

As fans of EastEnders may know, in the New Year, Ray Dixon and singleton Denise Fox are going to share a kiss, but of course, as Ray is dating Denise’s sister Kim, there could well be fireworks ahead if she finds out about it!

The tender moment between Ray and Denise happens after her friend Zainab Masood (Nina Wadia) organises a dinner party for Denise, with the primary objective of finding her a man…

To that end, Zainab invites every eligible bachelor in the Square, and even some – like Ray – who aren’t bachelors!

While discussing the kiss, Chucky Venn, who of course plays Ray, told Digital Spy, “As an actor, I love challenges so I’m looking forward to seeing how this storyline develops.”

He continued, “Obviously it’s about layers and showing the different sides of my character, so for me, this is a wonderful challenge.”

But of how Kim might react, Chucky said, “I think Kim would be quite peeved if she found out!

“Kim can be quite ruthless and she has the infamous headlock, so I have a feeling Ray is going to be experiencing some of that.”

And when asked if Ray is actually capable of settling down with one woman, he replied, “Absolutely. Ray has the potential to settle down with one woman…

“But he is a young, red-blooded male with the tendency to have a wandering eye.

“I believe there will be a ray of light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to the relationship between him and Kim.”

And finally, after revealing that he has no intention of leaving the show in the foreseeable future, he added, “I love working on the show. It has such a wonderful atmosphere and it’s a very family orientated show, on the inside and outside.

“I would love to explore the darker side of Ray, so I am looking forward to the future.”

Well, we’re set to see some very dark times for some of the Albert Square residents this Christmas!
