Peggy Mitchell finds herself in hospital with a suspected stroke just before her wedding to the conniving Archie Mitchell.

The landlady collapses and is rushed to the local A&E but fans will be led to believe that Archie may have had a hand in her illness.

An insider told The Daily Star: “Archie may well have more to do with this than we really know.

“He will stop at nothing to have her completely under his control so that he can take over the Mitchell empire once and for all.

“But the question is: How is he doing it?

“Over the coming months we are going to see just how dangerous he really is.”
