EastEnders: Jessie Wallace calls off her wedding “with just hours to spare”

EastEnders star Jessie Wallace has called off her wedding to Vince Morse, with only hours to go until the event should have taken place.

As we reported yesterday, Jessie was undecided as to whether to go ahead and wed Morse after she discovered he’d been sharing “sex emails” with his ex.

Yesterday, she told Morse that she would give him a decision as to whether the wedding was off or not that morning, and it seems she chose to cancel it at the last minute.

It seems her decision was made absolute after finding out that Morse had sent his former fiancé an “explicit” picture of Jessie, who of course plays Kat Moon on the soap.

A source told The Sun that Jessie furiously yelled at Morse, “I’ll never forgive you”.

She has apparently also ordered Morse to leave her home. The paper adds that Jessie now intends to take her daughter Tallulah on what should have been her honeymoon.

However, it seems some guests weren’t told that the wedding was off, and arrived at what should have been the venue only to be told that it was all off.

A witness to the dramatic events – Jessie called off the wedding from the hotel she was staying in – told the paper, “I’ve never heard anything like it. She was wailing in grief then growling in rage.

“She kept screaming, ‘How could he humiliate me like this? How could he do it’?

“Her friends were calling him a w***** and telling her to be strong. But she was a woman in pieces.

“It must be one of the worst things that can happen to a bride – on the eve of her wedding, too. EastEnders couldn’t have written a better script.”

Meanwhile, a family friend of Morse’ said, “Vince can’t stop crying. Jessie told him she’ll never forgive him and he accepts he’s betrayed her trust.

“He feels an idiot and just wishes he could turn back the clock.

“Vince had called Karen and begged her not to do anything with the picture he sent in a moment of madness.

“I think he knew deep down he was done for.”

The paper adds, “Baffled Pembroke Lodge staff learned of the cancellation just after 9am.
“They packed away £18,000 worth of champagne and removed £3,500 worth of flowers.
A Singing Elvis was cancelled, while pop legend David Essex, now an EastEnders co-star, had also been rumoured to perform.”
