Eastenders actress June Brown has admitted that she thinks there is an excess of sex and violence in Albert Square.
June told The Sun: “EastEnders used to be set in a more simple and moralistic time – it stood for something.”
The soap’s executive producer Diederick Santer remarked: “June’s fantastic, she will always come to me if she’s unhappy about something.
“Her experience and great knowledge of the show definitely count.”
