Eastenders actress, Kara Tointon has been complaining to The Mirror about the lack of a man in her life and has even said she wouldn’t mind having a partner with a ‘normal’ job.

25 year old Tointon told the newspaper: “Finding a man is a bit like shopping for clothes. If you go looking for something specific, you’ll never find it.

“I’ve had relationships with people in the business and they haven’t worked out. So maybe it’s time to go out with a guy who does something completely different. A normal job.”

She added: “I’m not good at meeting people when I’m out. My mum always asks me if any nice men have offered to buy me a drink. But blokes don’t seem to do that anymore.

“The ones who do tend to be over-the-top and horribly confident and I prefer guys who are a little bit shy.

“At the minute I’m single and having a lot of fun with my friends, going out to dinner and having a dance.”
