It’s been revealed today that Jessie Wallace is headed back to work having taken a three month break from the show and her role as Kat Moon.

But according to the Daily Mail, Jessie’s going to be back on set soon, and we’ll see her on screen in about six weeks’ time.

Of her time off, a friend told the paper, “Jessie has had an incredibly tough time but the break has done her the world of good.”

However, off on their own extended breaks are Patsy Palmer and Lindsey Coulson, who of course play mum and daughter, Bianca and Carol Jackson…

And their departure from the Square is prompted by a huge row over the debts that Bianca has run up with a loan shark as she’s been trying to make ends meet.

But Carol of course doesn’t approve, and is fuming that Bianca borrowed large amounts with no hope of ever paying them back.

And when Carol learns that Bianca’s even been stealing food for the kids, she’s even more enraged, and vows to take care of the children herself. She then gathers them up and arranges to go and live in the countryside with them…

But both characters will be back before the end of the year.
