Eastenders: Laila Morse Supports Cancer Charity In Memory Of Wendy Richard
Eastenders actress Laila Morse has agreed to become an ambassador for Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life in memory of her friend Wendy Richard.
Laila plays Big Mo on the BBC soap and revealed that it was Wendy that encouraged her to get the checkup which revealed that she was suffering with breast cancer a few years ago.
Laila said: “I’ve had breast cancer and it was Wendy who encouraged me to get checked out.
“Launching Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life on Monday is my way of doing my bit for her and everyone else out there whose lives have been touched by cancer.”
