Eastenders: Lauren Crace Wants Danielle To get More Fiesty!

Eastenders actress Lauren Crace has begged show bosses to make her character Danielle Jones less boring.
Lauren joined the cast as Ronnie Mitchell’s secret daughter last year and is already fed up with her being such a wimp.
Lauren told The Sun: “In the script, I kept reading ‘Danielle says shyly’ or ‘Danielle acts naively’. It got really boring for me.
“She doesn’t do much — she is very passive and it can be quite depressing to play that five days a week. And she is a Mitchell, after all.
“I told the producer she should stand up for herself more — and that is just starting to happen.
“I have some great scenes coming up when she has really good arguments with Archie. She is not a little mouse any more.”

I cant believe they have killed danielle off. that was a really bad ending. I love eastenders but it gets really annoying when you feel really depressed after watching it just about every night. They could have a made a happy storyline out of this, but no, they went and wrecked it. The story line writers need to sort out what they are writing about because its just getting really depressing now and and dont want to keep watching something thats so depressing
Danielle can not die there must be another filmed scanrio and we must fight for her life, if she dies eastenders storyline will be ruined and should have never produced it to drag for so long if they werent going to carry on when its at its peak. I think Daniela should come back as if she somehow had an outer body experience or got kidnapped by aliens and her soul returns or even better comes back as a ghost and haunts all the characters of eastenders and kills those that were a thorn in her life one by one by coming out of a tv screen and looking into there eyes.
Even any of the above would have been a better script than having to kill Daniella off the way they did
I forgot to mention, its about time they put some speed signs or cameras up with the amount of fatal car accidents that are happening around the square.

Ok seriously, why did Eastenders decide this was a good ending?
It’s harsh on all levels and they get rid of one of the best characters, I hated eastenders for a long time since Grant mitchell and steve owen and many other characters from a few years back left till a few weaks back when a new “different” character was introduced (I did though like the denis story alot) but it always seemed right when they killed of a character but for some reason it don’t seem right to kill her off, she was the most honest character and it was good to see her progress and become mentilly stronger and was good to see Ronnie happier for the short time she was,you made out she died happy because her mum saids she loved her? they should do 1 of 4 things:-
1)make out it was Ronnie’s dream and she wakes up to find dannille in a hospital bed if not a coma that maybe lasts a weak
2)make out the body was mistaken for some whacky reason? (lol don’t ask me how this would work)
3)turns out dannielle was in protective custody (as mentioned above)
4)get new writers or just cancel eastenders altogether.

I am sorry to have to say this but last nights Eastenders was the biggest waste of TV viewing for a long time! Not only was the Ronnie / Danielle storyline dragged out for months and months, but Danielle was killed off 10 minutes after the truth was revealed. To say the least I am very disappointed that you decided to kill Danielle off. She was a fabulous character and to be honest it is not worth watching Eastenders when everything that happens is so miserable. You could have at least opted for ONE happy ending but obviously Eastenders is just set to make people depressed as nothing good ever happens. I was looking forward to the possibility of Ronnie and Danielle exploring their relationship. Once again I am left feeling disappointed by your rubbish storylines and from alot of threads I have read people are feeling the same. I feel there is no point in watching this programme anymore as its dull and miserable and the one good storyline you could have run with has been ruined by suddenly killing off one of the best characters EastendeRS HAD

Agree with most of the comments, why did they have to kill off Danielle so cruelly and immediately after telling Ronnie that she is her daughter? I think the executive producer has gone a step (if not several steps) too far, and has been more concerned with trying to be clever and getting a more and more dramatic tragedy rather than being in tune with viewers’ feelings. As someone has already said, is ONE happy ending too much to have in EastEnders? Also Lauren has been a really good actress in playing Danielle.
