EastEnders: Locals will boycott the Queen Vic when it becomes infested with fleas!
It’s been revealed today that when EastEnders pub the Queen Vic becomes infested with fleas, the pub’s regulars will boycott the premises, causing Kat and Alfie Moon yet more financial misery.
The Sun reports that the plotline will see Kat (Jessie Wallace) and Alfie (Shane Richie) having to fork out for a total fumigation of the pub, in addition to the costly the loss of business, but it’s not known if the fleas are from animals or a human…
Maybe the newly returned Ian Beale – who’s been living like a tramp – brought a few itchy souvenirs of his time on the streets back to Walford with him?
But of course, it’s all more stress for the Moons, and for Kat, it’s yet another reason to turn to her mystery lover as Alfie’s far more interested in sorting out the infestation than he is in his wife…
An insider said, “This is a huge blow for Kat and Alfie. They’ve been struggling to make ends meet and lose thousands while the pub is shut.
“Kat and Alfie’s relationship has been strained for months and this only adds to their problems.
“They have no idea who brought the fleas in and are determined to get to the bottom of it.”
And of the locals boycotting the pub, the source said, “They were scared of spreading the insect invasion to their own homes.”
The itchy scenes will air in August.
