It’s been building for a while, but next week former lovebirds, Lucas and Denise end up in a passionate clinch on BBC One’s Eastenders.

Denise has a massive row with her daughter Libby over University plans and when she finds out that Libby has been talking to Lucas about her decision, she storms round to have another blazer with him. However, he puts an end to her rant by sticking the lips on….not a bad move in my opinion!

An EastEnders insider told The Daily Star: “This has been coming for a while but viewers will still be shocked when it happens.

“Lucas just grabs hold of her, pulls her to him and starts kissing her passionately.

“Denise responds at first but then realises the enormity of what she’s done.

“This is definitely the start of something between these two.

“The chemistry has always been there between them – it’s just a question of whether or not she can get over the
past. But the truth is he’s now everything she always wanted him to be. She’s going to find it harder and harder to resist him.”
