Max Branning’s day finally comes this week, when he manages to get his brother Jack arrested for posession of an illegal firearm.

Max has been causing problems for Tanya and Jack since he found out they are planning to take his kids to France. On Friday night he found the gun that Phil had given him which was conveniently covered in Jack’s fingerprints.

An insider told The Daily Star: “Max finds the gun and decides the time is right to carry out his plan. With Jack’s fingerprints all over the weapon he lures him to the house and then fires a shot at the wall.

“Jack leaves and Max ransacks the place – making it look like the two men have had a fight. He then calls the police and they find the bullet hole in the wall.

“Max does all he can to convince the police he is terrified of his brother and that he tried to kill him.”
