Scenes from Eastenders last Friday night have sparked 167 viewer complaints.

Most people were complaining about scenes in which Max Branning was drugged and then buried alive by his wife Tanya, and her lover Sean.

However the BBC don’t appear to be taking any notice of the viewers concerns stating:

“EastEnders is known for its dramatic and gripping storylines and, from a total audience of 10 million, the number of complaints is relatively small,” a spokeswoman said.

Without a doubt, this eastenders episode was powerful drama. What was farcical, was the time Max was left in the coffin before Tanya dug him up. According to the clock times shown during the episode he was in the coffin for at least4 hours.
He would have been dead after 30 mins max, when his air would have surely run out.
