In upcoming episodes of EastEnders, Michael Moon (Steve John Shepherd) has the opportunity to kill two birds with one stone; mend the rift with his brothers, and put Derek Branning (Jamie Foreman) back inside!

The storyline begins when Derek threatens Moon brother Anthony and Tyler – who are played by Matt Lapiskas and Tony Discipline – over money they owe him, however, in a panic, given they can’t repay the loan, Anthony turns to estranged brother Michael to help them out.

He promises to help them, but, according to All About Soap, in helping his brothers, he sees the chance to get Derek off the Square and back behind bars by tipping the police off to Derek’s dodgy dealings…

So when Derek is moving stolen goods in his van, the police swoop and arrest the wannabe gangster.

But what’s going to happen when Derek finds out who grassed him up? I’m thinking major bloodshed!

In the meantime, a rather more gentle storyline sees Abi Branning (Lorna Fitzgerald) finds a love letter that belongs to Big Mo Harris (Laila Morse).

Apropos of Laila Morse, she’s revealed that she’d love to host her own post-watershed talk show; something along the lines of a Jeremy Kyle show.

She told the Sun, “I would like to be like Jeremy Kyle…

“If there was two ugly people I’d say, ‘Well, you suit each other ‘cos you are both ugly’.

“It would have to be after the watershed. I would call it Late Night with Laila.

“They would come on and I’d say, ‘Look at you, your shoes need cleaning, your teeth are like a horrible pair of railings’.

“But there wouldn’t be fighting. I like making people laugh; it is the best tonic in the world to laugh. If I can do that I am doing everybody good.”
