EastEnders: Mystic Mo Harris makes her 2012 predictions!

by Lynn Connolly

As part of their brilliant Advent Calendar series on the show’s official website, EastEnders bosses have teasingly – via Mystic Mo! – made a few predictions for what lies ahead in 2012…

And Mystic Mo promises that all the events she predicts will in fact happen, but the tease comes in not knowing who they’re going to happen to!

Played of course by Laila Morse – who is the big sister of Hollywood star Gary Oldman, and who appeared in Gary’s iconic film, Nil by Mouth as Janet – Mo isn’t famed for her integrity, but let’s see what she predicts.

Click ‘Read more’ to find out as well as my guesses for what the predictions might pertain to…

Heartbreak happens for one mother hen when her-hen pecked hubby strays from the nest.

Could this be Ricky’s affair with Mandy??

Sinister secrets that may mar her marriage are discovered by a worried wife.

Blimey… that could be anyone!

A protective patriarch puts himself in danger to save his offspring.

Maybe this refers to Masood wading into the B&B fire to save Tam?

The man in the moon will be left lonely when his lady makes a mercy mission.

I would say the “man in the moon” has to refer to Alfie, while the “lady” must then be Kat.

Brotherly love will be put to the test when one sibling commits a cardinal sin.

The “brotherly love” prediction could be either the Branning brothers or the Moon brothers?

A heart will be broken when a beautiful babe chooses her beau to be.

Again, could be anyone, but maybe relates to Whitney or Lauren.

A tall, dark stranger will turn one brassy broad’s life upside down.

Not a Scooby what this might be about…

Nerves will be frayed when one man gets battered in a battle for his affections.

Again, could be anyone.

Lusty letters cause conflict for two rowing relatives.

Could this apply to Rose Branning and her sister Dot? The former being the likely recipient of “lusty letters” that is!

Fireworks fly for two likely lads leaving them in hot water with the big bad wolf.

I would guess the Moon reference could also apply to Tyler and Anthony Moon – vis à vis a lupine reference – in the “big bad wolf” prediction.

What are your guesses as to Mo’s predictions?
