Neil McDermott was pictured leaving his marital home last night, after his wife found out that he had recently slept with a teenage fan.

It had been revealed at the weekend that the Eastenders actor, best known as Walford hunk Ryan Malloy, had bedded a sixteen year old girl while at a promotional gig. She claims that he chatted her up in a nightclub, before inviting her back to his hotel room where they had sex numerous times.

After the story broke, Neil made a statement saying:

“I am so sorry to my wife, ­daughter and our family for this ­betrayal. I love my wife and family dearly and I’m distraught that my life is now in tatters due to a stupid ­mistake.

“I’ve no excuse for my actions but I had no idea the girl wasn’t over 18 as we met in a nightclub. Either way, I’ve caused heartache to those I love most which I deeply regret.”

Neil, 31, has been with his now wife since he was nineteen years old and she gave birth to their first child just weeks ago. It seems as though his betrayal was too much to bear and last night the star was pictured leaving his home, with his possessions hastily threw into a black bin bag. Classy!
