Jessie Wallace has reportedly left her mother heartbroken, after she banned her from attending her wedding.
The 39 year old actress – best known as Kat Moon from BBC soap Eastenders – is set to marry her fiancée Vince Morse, having gotten engaged to him in April. However, insiders say that most of her family will not be at the ceremony.
Jessie’s mum Annette and her sisters Danielle Mason, 28, and Joanne Harman, 41 are said to be gutted by the news and a source told The Daily Star:
“They can’t quite believe Jessie hasn’t invited them. It came as a massive shock and they are completely devastated about it.
“Jessie has made it quite clear they are not welcome to come. She obviously wants them nowhere near her on her big day. It looks like she’s trying to avoid an EastEnders-style row at the church.
“Everyone knew family relationships were strained but it didn’t even cross their mind she’d ban them from her wedding.
“It seems like a pretty drastic measure to take. They are worried she really hates them.”
“Everyone is really annoyed at the way Jessie is behaving and they’re really peed off she’s treating them like this.
“They can’t work out what they’ve done wrong. She’s close to her dad and he’s been invited but that’s about it.
“Before they would have tried to get through to her but the way things are they can’t see the point.
“Her mum and sisters love her but they’re starting to wonder if Jessie sees them as part of her future.”
Jessie and her sister Danielle are thought to have fallen out, when the younger woman accused her famous sibling of stealing her boyfriend Tommy O’Neill four years ago. Even after the accusations Jessie went on dating the youth worker, causing a massive rift in her family.
Sources claim that the actress has changed her phone number so her family can no longer contact her and does not allow them to see her six year old daughter, Tallulah Lilac.
Wallace recently revealed that she is planning to have more children with her husband to be, adding:
“I’ve never been this happy with a man before.”
