Apparently, nasty Nick Cotton is planning to murder his poor, long-suffering mum Dot in a bid to get hold of her money.

Nick, played by John Altman, uses Dotty’s close relationship to her Granny to help him in this, his most dastardly plan yet.

Viewers saw Nick blackmailing money out of Dot last week when he threatened to leave with Dotty unless she coughed up. He knows she’s got money and he’s determined to get his grubby hands on it…

Dot forked over a load of Bradley’s cash to get Nick to leave Dotty behind but what she doesn’t know is that Dotty’s in on the terrible plan.

Over the coming episodes, Dotty will play a convincing part and have Dot eating out of her hand, but viewers will realise it is all a con trick when she sneaks off to meet her dad and tell him how well their plan is going.

Nick also gives Dotty a mobile so that they can keep in touch as their murderous plan comes together.
