The Who’s Stalking Phil? storyline is without doubt a good one, however, the list of suspects grows ever more ridiculous, which I think is taking away some credibility from it all…

And in an attempt to keep up viewers’ interest in the plotline, I suspect the show’s bosses are doing the exact opposite by including such really rather ridiculous suspects as Lola Pearce, who is of course played by Danielle Harold.

As we saw on Thursday, she taunted Phil (Steve McFadden) and in return ended up in hospital, as people who cross Phil are wont to do, but seriously, to now add her to the ten other stalker prospects is just plain silly surely?

For a start, she’s not been on the Square long enough to know all the things about Phil that the stalker evidently does, nor is she clever enough. She’s street smart and savvy, but a devious and seemingly omnipresent mastermind? I think not…

However, here’s the ‘evidence’ video from the show’s website, which is accompanied with the caption, “Lola hates the way Phil treats Billy like a second-class citizen. Is it time she taught Phil some respect?”

I’m still fairly convinced that Ben (Joshua Pascoe) could well be the stalker, unless it’s – as I suggested in this article yesterday – someone right out of left field who isn’t even a Walford resident right now.
