EastEnders: O no! Syed throws out all of Christian’s belongings; is Chryed really over just as Zainab’s headed back home?

by Lynn Connolly

Fans of EastEnders will of course know that the love the nation hoped would be a lasting one, Chryed, is very much on the rocks following interference from scheming banker Danny Pennant (Gary Lucy) who not only fleeced Syed (Marc Elliott) and left him penniless, but has also been intent on splitting newlyweds Christian and Syed up…

And as spoiler pictures from next week’s episodes would indicate, he’s done just that as it seems that when Christian moves out of the flat he shares with Syed – staying temporarily with BFF Roxy (Rita Simons) – it’s almost the last straw for Syed.

But it most definitely is the straw that broke the camel’s back when Syed hears on the grapevine that Christian (John Partridge) has decided to move to America…

He’s so furious that his lover has clearly given up on any thoughts of a reconciliation that Syed decides to throw all of Christian’s belongings out onto the street.

So is that it? Is Chryed truly over? Find out on Tuesday, November 13 at 7.30pm on BBC1.

In the meantime, in tonight’s visit to Walford, Zainab Masood (Nina Wadia) is back baby yeah, and she’s back to her normal feisty self and intent on building bridges with her family…

She left the Square temporarily after she caused a great deal of upset by giving Syed all of her and Masood’s savings, which of course, Danny subsequently ‘lost’ in an investment.

However, when she returns, she finds her family in upbeat mood, and celebrating bonfire night with fireworks, music and dancing girls…

And the sight instantly angers Zainab, so she turns the music off and demands to know what’s going on!

So much for her repentance…

But also tonight, we’ll see Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) convincing Sharon Rickman (Letitia Dean) to wear an engagement ring he’s bought her. What’s Jack (Scott Maslen) going to say about that?

Well I guess we’ll find out tonight, but for now, here’s a sneak peek preview…
