EastEnders: Pam St Clement lands This Morning role, and fears for missing actress Gemma McCluskie

LATEST NEWS ON GEMMA MCCLUCKIE’S DISAPPEARANCE HERE.

It’s been reported by the Daily Mirror today that former EastEnders star Pam St Clement – who of course played Pat Evans – has landed a role on This Morning as an animal expert.

Pam, who’s been a supporter of animal rights campaigns for decades, will present a regular slot on caring for pets.

Pam told the paper, “I’m excited to start a role I feel so passionate about.”

And the show’s executive producer, Karl Newton, added, “Pam’s passion for animal welfare is unrivalled and her charity work makes a difference.

“She will deal with everything from pets, working animals and wildlife.”

Her first appearance on the popular daytime show will be on Tuesday, when she’ll discuss how difficult it can be to re-home problem pets.

In less cheery news from Walford way, a former cast member has sparked fears for her safety after going missing four days ago…

29 year old Gemma McCluskie, who starred in the soap as Kerry Skinner for around 30 episodes in 2001, vanished from Bethnal Green, East London.

Her brother Danny said, “We are all going out of our mind with worry. Her phone has been switched off since Thursday afternoon.”

And Gemma’s former co-star Brooke Kinsella tweeted, “Please get in touch if you have seen her.”

Let’s hope she’s found safe and well very soon.
