Eastenders actress, Rita Simons has admitted that she and on screen sister, Samantha Janus get on like a house on fire in real life and often talk to each other like real sisters.

Speaking to MSN at the Inside Soap Awards, where she won best newcomer, Rita said: “I love her. She is my big sister. I adore her – we’ve both got kids of the same age. We’ve got a lot in common. I love the way she acts. And she’s easy to work with.”

“We didn’t know each other but from the minute we met, we just clicked straight away in the auditions,” she revealed. “You know you meet someone and it’s so easy to be with them? That’s what she’s like.”
