Eastenders new boy Scott Maslen has joined the cast of Eastenders as renowned womaniser Jack Branning and is soon to begin a steamy affair with Queen Vic barmaid, Ronnie Mitchell, Samantha Janus.
However, Scott has revealed that he is dreading filming for the storyline as he and Samantha are such good friends off screen.
“I have known Sam since I was 16 and I am Godparent to her kids,” Scott told the Daily Star. “We’re like: ‘Urgh, I am going to have to kiss you!’
“My missus is her best friend and I and her fella are best mates, so it’s really odd. If we do kiss, it’s going to be like kissing my sister! I think we are both going to have to get blazing drunk.”
