For the last few weeks on Eastenders we have witnessed Sean Slater terrorising his flatmate, Gus after he tried to throw him out of the flat.

However things go from bad to worse as Sean ends up tying Gus to a chair and threatens to kill him. He even plans to make it look like suicide so that he escapes any blame.

A show insider told The Daily Mail: “Sean is ­seriously off the rails and a danger not only to everyone around him but to himself.

“He hasn’t been right in the head since Tanya dumped him.

“Helping her kill Max, only to watch her save him and then end their relationship, was like stabbing him through the heart.

Most people would go away and lick their wounds but when you’re as mental as Sean, you do things differently, as Gus finds out.”

Thankfully Seans sister Stacey walks in before he can take things too far, and as he storms off she is left trying to persuade the street cleaner not to go to the police.
