EastEnders: So Ben IS Lexi’s dad! Which is why Phil’s going to try to get custody of the baby (VIDEO)

As we saw in last night’s episode of EastEnders, Lola (Danielle Harold) admitted to Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) that his son Ben is in fact baby Lexi’s dad.

Lola made the admission while begging Phil to intervene and stop social services from taking the baby girl from her…

And though there was nothing Phil could do right then and there, as we reported yesterday, he’s set to mastermind a plan to get custody of his granddaughter by becoming engaged to Sharon Rickman (Letitia Dean) in order to show the social services that he’s a fit guardian for the baby.

Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) is of course Lexi’s great-grandfather, which makes for a somewhat complex – not to mention interbred – family tree!

However, we’ll see Phil begin to formulate his plan during Monday night’s episode when he first quizzes Abi Branning (Lorna Fitzgerald) to try to find out if Lola was telling the truth about Ben being Lexi’s dad.

We of course know that Lola and Ben did sleep together last year, when she challenged Ben to find out if he really is gay by having straight sex. As you do.

But while Phil’s trying to figure out how to get custody of Lexi, a distraught Lola gets some words of advice from Cora (Ann Mitchell) who as ever takes a “tough love” stance over what Lola needs to do to convince the authorities that she’s a fit parent.

However, in Tuesday’s episode, we’ll see that despite her best efforts, an interim care order states that Lexi is to remain in the care of the local authority for at least eight weeks.

We have a spoiler clip for you from Monday’s episode below, but for now, here’s a hint at what’s to come…

On October 25th, Phil receives news about Ben’s sentencing, and Lola panics when Phil decides to tell Ben the truth about Lexi.

On the 26th, Phil sets his sights on a reluctant Ian to help win residency of Lexi. When things don’t go according to plan, he resorts to underhand tactics.

So predictable, stopped watching it when Ben killed Heather, what a joke! EE has so many better actors, yet they constantly use Ben and all of the storylines, set around him! No suprise, if Kat’s mystery man, might even be BEN!!

… you do know Ben’s left, right?
If you don’t even watch EastEnders now, why comment on it?
You’ve just made yourself look like a complete idiot to be honest, because Ben’s not in it, he’s not been in it for almost 2 months, well done Einstein
