EastEnders Spoilers: Dot Branning accuses Cora Cross of stealing from her! But she’s in for a huge shock when she finds out who the culprit really is! (VIDEO)

Fans of EastEnders will know that Cora Cross (Ann Mitchell) is persona non grata as far as Dot Branning is concerned, given that while Dot was away from the Square, she allowed Cora to live in her house on condition she paid the rent and the bills…

However, Cora did neither, so now, poor Dot (June Brown) faces the possibility of losing her home and is in debt as she tries to pay all the bills left by Cora.

So when things suddenly begin disappearing, Dot – who threw Cora out a couple of weeks ago – suspects that her former houseguest is taking stealing the items. And in the episode that airs on Tuesday, March 5th, when some cuts of cold meat mysteriously vanish from the fridge, Dot storms off to confront Cora and to demand she hand back the keys to the house.

Cora immediately denies any knowledge of the missing items, and she and Dot row, leaving poor Dot more distraught than ever.

However, in the episode that airs on Thursday, March 7th, having been encouraged by Tanya (Jo Joyner) to make things up with Dot, feisty Cora goes to Dot’s house and insists she’s staying put until the real thief is caught…

Some hours later, after an uneventful evening waiting for the culprit to strike, Dot and Cora both fall asleep, so when Poppy (Rachel Bright) comes home with Fatboy (Ricky Norwood) in tow, the pair sneak off upstairs, leaving the slumbering pensioners to it.

But later, Cora and Dot are woken by noises coming from the kitchen, and they realise this is it; they’re about to catch the thief!

However, as they stealthily sneak up on the midnight raider, they’re astounded by who, and what, awaits them in the kitchen.

We’re sworn to secrecy about what Dot and Cora discover in order to keep it a surprise for viewers, but for now, here’s a look at the next visit to Walford…
