EastEnders Spoilers! Is Ian Beale facing bankruptcy? And Kim unveils her new B&B

Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) has of course recently bought back the café and renamed it ‘Mandy’s’, however, he’s about to learn that that was a decision that could cost him the Beale empire…

Elsewhere, Kim Fox (Tameka Empson), ever keen to cash in on something new, reopens the B&B and names it ‘Kim’s Olympic Palace’ and she even has a sportsman all lined up to promote the newly revamped business…

More on that in a moment, but first, on the subject of Ian’s financial woes, the pressure is ramped up on him in forthcoming episodes when not only is there a health inspection due, but Mandy (Nicola Stapleton) has her heart set on a luxury cruise for their honeymoon.

However, when Ian’s accountant comes calling, he has bad news for Ian and warns him that unless he stops spending so much so fast, he could well become bankrupt and lose everything…

His day goes from bad to worse when newly hired Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) loses her temper with Ian and his barked orders, and tips a bin all over the floor, just as the health inspector is due!

However, Kim Fox is having a much better time of it business-wise, and is ready to re-open Kim’s Palace, with a twist…

Keen to make the best of the trade that the Olympics are set to bring to London, Kim’s new B&B is called Kim’s Olympic Palace, and as mentioned, she has a VIP lined up to open the guest house…

Billy Mitchell. Yes, Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) who is going to run with the Olympic torch through Walford this summer. But while the locals sigh disappointedly when they realize Billy is the mystery VIP, Kim’s quite happy with her cheap marketing strategy!

Don’t miss all that next week.
