EastEnders Spoilers: Things turn nasty between Kat and Alfie Moon over Tommy! (VIDEO)

In next week’s episodes of EastEnders, Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) is still resisting Alfie’s attempts to have his rights to contact with little Tommy made formal through solicitors…

And though things between Kat and Alfie (Shane Richie) are initially cordial, as we’ll see in Monday’s visit to Walford, he’s concerned for the little boy’s wellbeing when on several occasions, he sees Kat’s place is a tip.

So with that in mind, Alfie forges ahead with his planned meeting with his solicitor, and though Jean’s worried about it all, Alfie assures her that Kat knows he’s going, and is fine with it.

However, when Jean (Gillian Wright) later mentions it to Kat, it’s clear she didn’t know about it, nor is she fine with it.

Angry, Kat demands that Alfie hand Tommy back to her, but she’s further irritated when Alfie tells her that Tommy’s out with Roxy (Rita Simons) adding that he’ll bring Tommy over when he gets back.

Kat’s not happy about it but her anger abates somewhat as she once again assures Alfie they don’t need to involve solicitors. He realises Kat truly does want things to work out, but he can’t help but still want his rights over Tommy legalized.

In the episode that airs on Tuesday, March 19, when Kat sees Alfie on the market, she tells him that she’s trying to change things for her and Tommy by getting their own place, but she adds that she’ll need help to move out. Alfie offers to sort out a removal van for her, but he quickly realises that Kat meant financial help…

When she adds that the money’s for Tommy, he pointedly suggests that Kat goes to Tommy’s real dad, seeing as he, Alfie, has no legal rights. Later, in the Vic, she raises the issue with Michael (Steve John Shepherd) who laughs in her face.

However, when Kat gets home, she makes a phone call seeking advice on how to get child maintenance, determined that from now on, she’ll do whatever it takes to make sure Tommy doesn’t miss out.

But will that new determination include any room for Alfie, who, as he rightly pointed out, isn’t biologically related to Tommy at all?
