Stacey Branning takes her life in her hands next month, as she tries to block out reality by hitting the bottle in a big way.

Stacey sinks to new lows as she is forced to burn all the stock from her market stall due to faulty goods, all the while trying to deal with her recent marriage breakdown.

It all just gets too much for Stacey, and she hits the club, and the vodka bottle, and some pills. Unsurprisingly, her night finishes in the local A&E department, while medics frantically try to discover which drugs have left her in such a state.

A EastEnders mole told The Daily Star: “It’s safe to say Stacey is having a complete meltdown.

“Everything is getting on top of her. She can’t cope.

“Drinking and taking drugs is proof she’s messed up, but she doesn’t expect to end up in hospital.”
