EastEnders star Diane Parish reveals her terrifying brush with death!
EastEnders star Diane Parish – who plays fiery shopkeeper Denise Fox – has revealed that she could have been killed when a tree fell and landed on top of her car!
Diane, who formerly starred in The Bill as DC Eva Sharpe, and before that, she starred in Babyfather, for which she received the Royal Television Society’s best actress award in 2001, explained that the incident occurred just as she was about to pick her children up from school on a windy afternoon.
She told the Enfield Independent, “It could have killed my family. I was five minutes away from picking the kids up from school.
“Who knows what could have happened?”
Diane went on to explain that in the area of her home, there are a number of elderly and diseased trees that are at risk of falling…
She added, “There have been so many complaints from people on this road to the council about this, it’s ridiculous.
”It’s ruined my car but thankfully everyone is fine, but I’m so angry about it.”
But of course, as Denise, Diane’s no stranger to danger, given that Denise’s nutty ex-husband Lucas Johnson tried to kill her on a few occasions, and even kept her hostage for weeks while he declined into serious mental illness.
