EastEnders: The drama isn’t over for the Masood family! And Alfie Moon’s in too deep with Derek Branning

In last night’s episode of EastEnders, it was beginning to look alarmingly like the Masood family were going to experience a bit of peace and harmony for a while, and that would never do…

However, it seems we need not fear that the Masoods’ troubles are over – they’re so much more fun when things are going badly wrong – as Himesh Patel, who plays Tamwar, has told the Sun that there’s more turmoil to come.

He said, “There’s so many loose ends to tie up, so we’re still exploring it, but it does move on.”

Tamwar is of course struggling to cope with the burns he received in the B&B fire, and Himesh went on to reveal that when Tam catches his wife Afia (Meryl Fernandes) looking at websites that promise reconstructive surgery for burns victims, he gets upset with her…

Himesh said, “He thinks she doesn’t like the way he looks. But she just wants him to feel better about himself, as she can see what it’s doing to him.”

Another Walford resident who’s about to find themselves in a good deal of turmoil is Alfie Moon, who is not only set to embark on an affair with Roxy Mitchell (Rita Simons) but he’s also about to find himself being Derek Branning’s lackey…

The storyline with Alfie and Derek (Jamie Foreman) kicks into high gear when Derek talks Alfie into making “deliveries” for him. And sappy Alfie (Shane Richie) feels forced to go along with it.

However, when one of the deliveries is of a package to a run down council estate, Alfie begins to panic that he’s got himself into something he could do a lot of prison time for.

See that drama unfolding next week!
