Eastenders: Tony Moves On To Lauren Branning
Evil Tony is soon to grow tired of abusing step-daughter Whitney Dean and decides to move on a younger victim.
As Whitney grows older, Tony begins to look for a younger, fresher victim and sets his sights on Lauren Branning after she visits Whitney at home.
Thankfully the situation comes to a head before Tony gets a chance to move things further with Lauren, can you imagine what Max would do if he did!
The storyline has attracted over 200 complaints to OFCOM but Chris Coghill, 34, who plays Tony, says it is vital that issues like this are highlighted.
He told The Daily Star: “Unfortunately, people like Tony do exist.
“This storyline happens and it’s depressingly common.
“It’s important it’s done correctly, which is why the NSPCC is involved.
“The problem with child abuse is you never really know that someone is an abuser until they do it.”

we all know it’s not real and just another soap opera storyline. But come on it’s not normal viewing and i think the majority of soap fans find it distasteful and very difficult to watch. Whatever next, we cannot let this sort of thing to become the “norm” on tv especially soapland.Please rethink and rewrite this dreadful storyline and lock the character away for life.
i think it is a great story line, better than the usual, cheating stories.

Any pioneering storyline is likely to receive negative press – breast cancer awareness wasn’t the “norm” when Dallas first touched upon it, and one could argue that it was also “distasteful and very difficult to watch”, as was the Mark Fowler AIDS script. Although the viewer might (falsely) infer that this is a commonplace occurrence..say, 1 in 20 men are predators, I still find it a poignant issue to raise. If children would stick to “Say no, never go” then this situation would be obsolete..but it isn’t, and subsequently it is a sensible (and emphatically NOT near-to-knuckle) issue to highlight.

tony cant do that to lauren cause when max finds out about the arragemaent. when tony gets the point of the crime for what he did to whitney because i thought tony was going to have underage sex with whiteny. tony should be in prison for what he did to them and plus that whiteny told about the affiar that was really hard for her to say that to bianca when lauren find out about tony was really like with others and put them in danager
