Eastenders Weekly Roundup

Eastenders LogoThis week on Walford’s most famous square:

Stella manages to push Ben into convincing Phil to propose to her. Ben gets upset and tells Phil that he has already lost on emum, and can’t bear to lose another, so Phil stupidly decides to propose to the Bride of Frankenstein.

Steve McFadden told The Sun:

“Phil trusts Stella – and she is good in bed,”

“But most important for Phil is that he desperately wants to make Ben happy. Phil has always been a bit of a ‘brassy blondes’ bloke, but now he wants a mum for Ben and a companion for himself. He wants a bit of stability in his life.”

Stella is thrilled, but it doesn’t stop her tormenting poor Ben. Certainly not! The week begins with Stella pouring water in Ben’s bed while he is asleep and convincing him that he wet the bed. She ends the week by gluing the pages of Phil’s account book together and convincing him that Ben did it.

Rob breaks it to May that he is leaving her for Dawn. May takes the news badly and after a night out with Jane, goes home and trashes the flat in a fit of temper. She has no baby and no husband, in her mind her life is meaningless.

“It’s a shattering blow,” Amanda Drew, who plays the devastated doctor tells The Sun. “May wants to be a mother more than anything in the world and getting Dawn’s baby was her last hope.

“It’s a need that turned into an obsession as she plotted with Rob to dupe Dawn. Now it feels as if she’s lost everything.”

“May is totally traumatised – and goes completely mental,” adds Amanda. “It feels like her life has no point to it now.”

May intends to do everything she can to ruin Rob. “He has wrecked her life, so May feels totally justified. Rob and Dawn should watch out!”

Meanwhile, Ian is annoyed with the estate agent and decides to advertise the flat privately. Jane suggests they stay put, but Ian doesn’t listen to her.

Dot is still annoyed with Jim because he asked for Yolande’s help. A sour Dot later tells Yolande that Mr Papadopoulos wants her to have Pauline’s job permanently, and, if it’s too much, Yolande can do both shifts full-time.
