EastEnders: Will Roxy Mitchell win back custody of Amy?
Next week sees Roxy Mitchell (Rita Simons) going head to head in court with her ex, Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) to win back custody of her daughter Amy…
And it seems she’s prepared to fight as dirty as is necessary to ensure that Jack’s shown to be a less then reliable father, despite the fact that it was her own irresponsibility over little Amy that cost her custody of the little girl in the first place.
However, just before they’re due to fight it out in court, they end up sharing a one night stand! Wonder if that’ll result in another Walford baby?
But, the gloves are off when the court hearing begins, and the tension ramps up a good few notches after Michael Moon (Steve John Shepherd) finds out that Jack has applied for a passport for Amy and has forged Roxy’s signature to get it!
So, armed with that information, and of course details about Jack’s seriously dysfunctional family – including brother Derek’s (Jamie Foreman) criminal history – and what happened to his crippled daughter Penny, Roxy tells Jack that she’ll tell the court everything, unless he voluntarily gives Amy back…
But will Jack counter by bringing up Roxy’s family history, which, given her cousin Phil (Steve McFadden) is on remand, charged with suspicion of murder, won’t look good.
And of course, little Amy nearly drowned while in the care of Ben Mitchell (Joshua Pascoe) who also spent time at her Majesty’s pleasure…
Tune in next week to find out who wins this bitter battle!
