Eat To Save Your Life: Jamie Oliver Backs TV Autopsy

Jamie Oliver has backed Channel 4’s decision to show the autopsy of a 25 stone dead man, as part of his new TV show, Eat To Save Your Life.

Speakign to The Sun, Jamie said:

“Some parts of the programme will be gross.

“But it might make people change their eating habits. We’re looking at the effects a lifetime of junk has on your body.”

In the show Jamie will watch Dr Gunther von Hagens dissect a man who died as a result of a life of eating junk food.

Before starting the dissection, Dr von Hagens says: “This man was a victim of his own terrible diet. He literally ate himself to death.”

Jamie Oliver: Eat To Save Your Life, Channel 4 next Wednesday.

  1. Thought it was a mess of a program, far too much going on at any one time. Some classic Oliver though…

“Have we all gotten greedier? No.”
    “i know sh*t is funny, but…”

Thanks Jamie. Someone put him back on his factory setting, quick.

Most interesting programme, being a visual person I really needed to see the evidence of what goes on in our bodies, as a result of our poor diet.
Well done Jamie, when is the programme being repeated? soon I hope.

Is this more evidence of Jamie, Hugh, and Gordon’s plans to bring Soylent Green back onto the menu?
