Former X Factor hopeful Ella Henderson appeared on the show this past weekend as a guest performer with finalist Andrea Faustini.
The singer, who has had a great amount of success since releasing her debut album ‘Chapter One’ has spoken about a possible collaboration with Pharrell Williams.
It’s safe to say that most things Pharrell touches, turn to gold. Just look at the likes of ‘Blurred Lines’, ‘Get Lucky’ and ‘Happy’ to name but a few.
Pharrell Williams is a singer and producer that many people want to work with but not everyone is presented with that opportunity.
Pharrell Williams has previously spoken about being a fan of Henderson and a collaboration would no doubt open up Ella to a world of new fans.
Ella spoke in a new interview with Digital Spy and explained that she met Pharrell after performing on The Voice in the U.S.
She explained that after appearing on the show: “I caught up with Pharrell after and he’s obsessed with the song ‘Glow’. He kept raving on about it.”
Henderson went on to add that: “He loves ‘Ghost’ more, but he’s obsessed with ‘Glow’. So yeah it’s really exciting, hopefully we’ll be doing something in the New Year together.”
Discussing her plans for the future, Ella explained that into next year they have a “strong single campaign” and they have a good plan of what the singles will be.
“I won’t say anything too soon but it’s one of Simon’s favourite songs on the album and it’s one of mine as well. It will be very exciting to do.” she added.
Speaking about her performance on the X Factor on Saturday, Ella tweeted: Loved every second of that!! Congrats @AndreaFaustini1 for making the finals!! So proud. @TheXFactor ! X. E. X
