British musician Ellie Goulding has already worked with Calvin Harris on hit record ‘I Need Your Love’ which was lifted from Calvin’s hugely successful album ’18 Months’.
Now, the singer-songwriter has revealed that while she would love to work with the Scottish DJ and producer again, there are other music biz stars that she’s excited about collaborating with too.
When ‘I Need Your Love’ was released, fans of both Ellie and Calvin immediately loved it and hoped that more was to follow, and sure enough, the pair have also collaborated on a track called ‘Outside’ which will feature on Calvin Harris’ forthcoming album, ‘Motion’.
Now, in a new interview with the Mirror, the pop beauty confessed that continuing the collaboration theme on hew own new album is something she’d like to explore.
Talking about Harris though, she said: “We’ve been friends for years. We like working together [and] we have a laugh.”
However, she added: “Sometimes you want to work with someone, but you don’t necessarily have a connection…”
The ‘Goodness Gracious’ star continued: “There are a couple of male singer-songwriters that I’m really excited about. We’ll probably be old-school and do a male-female duet.”
Recently Ellie took part in a fan Q&A session and when the subject of her new album was brought up, she confessed: “I’ve done a few songs that I’m really, really happy with,”
The blonde beauty did explain though that she doesn’t want to reveal too much about her new material so early on in the process, because many things about the album could yet change, and she doesn’t want to have to subsequently account for that if fans are led to expect something that later doesn’t transpire.
