Embarrassing Illnesses: Uneven Breasts
Opening its doors tonight, the Embarrassing Illnesses clinic tackles more medical problems that people would rather bury than share with their GP. Three doctors - Dawn Harper, Christian Jessen and Pixie McKenna - examine the symptoms of a number of common ailments to help their patients realise that they are not alone.
Patients consulted and diagnosed by the doctors include 33-year-old Toni, who’s so ashamed of her asymmetrical breasts that she’s never let her husband see them. A man’s worst STD nightmare is examined by Dr Jessen, while Derek’s deformed toenail is driving both him and his partner to distraction. Also in the show is 25-year-old Natalie, whose in-growing hair is ruining her love life, and a patient whose inability to control her bladder is making her life hell. Male fertility is on the agenda as a group of mountain bikers learn how their hobby could be doing them more harm than good. Sperm samples are supplied to Dr Jessen, with one shocking result.
