Emmerdale Boss Slammed For Sacking Two Year Old For Crying

New Emmerdale boss, Anita Turner has been criticised for sacking two year old Benjamin Shooter from the show for crying on set.

Benjamin played Samson Dingle and after filming a scene in which there was a massive family row the toddler cried each time he saw on screen dad, James Hooton.

Benjamin’s mum, Emma told The Sun: “He got very upset when his screen dad was confronted by cops and the Dingles. There was a lot of shouting going on. I had to take him straight home to calm down.”

Benjamin returned to set four days later but cried every time he saw Hooton.

Emma commented: “If he’d been able to spend a bit of time playing with James, he would have been fine. They sacked him and didn’t give him chance to adjust.”

What I need to ask is if filming that sort of scene is so traumatic for your two year old son, why would you want to put them in that position again. Maybe Anita had a point…..
