Emmerdale characters get their own Facebook pages! And see preview clip of Holly’s new drug torment

It was reported a few weeks ago that Emmerdale bosses were looking into a variety of ways to make the show and its storylines – and characters – more interactive across a number of media platforms…

And ITV have now revealed that some of the show’s characters have their own Facebook pages, with more to be rolled out in the coming weeks.

Here are links to the Facebook pages that’re already set up for the show’s characters…

Amy Wyatt

Alex Moss

Victoria Sugden

Ed Roberts

Belle Dingle

And in Thursday night’s episode of the show, the above mentioned Alex Moss (Kurtis Stacey) is horrified when he finds Holly Barton (Sophie Powles) clutching a bag of heroin.

Poor Holly is of course struggling to cope with not only the death of her dad John, but also the apparent disintegration of her family since the tragedy.

So, feeling alienated and alone, Holly once again turns to drugs, and will in fact take an overdose, which will leave her fighting for her life.

However, before that happens, Alex will be horrified when he sees that Holly has yet again turned to drugs.

But, when Holly swears that she isn’t going to take the drug, and it was just a lapse of willpower that made her buy it, Alex reluctantly agrees to tell no-one what he’s seen, but will that decision cost Holly her life?

Tune in at the end of this week and next week to find out, but for now, here’s a clip from Thursday night’s double bill…
